How to Zip Files (Step-by-Step Instructions)

💻 For Windows Users

1. Select all the files or folders you want to include.
2. Right-click on your selection.
3. Hover over Send to and click Compressed (zipped) folder.
4. A zip file will appear in the same location — you can rename it if needed.

🍏 For Mac Users

1. Select the files or folder you want to zip.
2. Right-click (or hold Control and click).
3. Choose Compress “[filename]” from the menu.
4. The zipped file will appear in the same folder with a .zip extension.

📱 For iPhone/iPad (iOS 13 or later)

1. Open the Files app.
2. Go to the folder with your files and tap Select.
3. Tap the files you want to zip.
4. Tap the three-dot menu at the bottom right.
5. Tap Compress. A zip file will appear in the same location.

🤖 For Android Users

You’ll need a file manager app like Files by Google or ZArchiver.

Using Files by Google:

1. Open the app and find the files you want to zip.
2. Tap and hold one file, then tap others to select.
3. Tap the three-dot menu or Share option.
4. Select Zip or Save as ZIP (depends on the app).
